Hello All, Having just read my BT today, and seeing the artical "telegram boys take place in history", made me think back to the laughs and tears of that time. We sadly lost one of the lads during my time, killed on duty, trying to overtake a lorry on his gutless 125, we were all told to go and have cuppa and a`fag` as we retuned from our deliveries. I remember the nervous chatter and lapses of silence amoungst us, Ithink more than one of us went of to a quiet corner with a wet eye, but of course we were to `grown up` to admit it. I think we all thought of the quiet lad who died in different ways, my `awful thought` was that I owed him a meal voucher and could never pay him back, so I burned one as a sort of guilt thing. It`s seems a long time since sixtyone, but reflecting now I can still feel the loss of Chris, the quiet lad.
