My name is Lee Coldwell I was a Telegram Lad from 1967 to 1969 (my parents had the Penny Black opposite the telegram delivery room on flat street) The lads who worked there at that time- Pete Carr- Pete Watson- Bob Ward-Alan Flack- Dave Denton -John Ring to name a few, the PHGs at the time were Ken Galley and Jack Hobson ?. We rode the BSA Bantams and had a whale of a time (looking back) we used to meet up and go scrambling on ivy cottage lane, the motor cycle mechanic (paddy) went mad when he saw the bikes and report us. On the whole very enjoyable days.
